I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of my good friend and TFA brother, Milt Dexheimer.
Last April, Milt was noticeably absent from our annual meeting. Milt NEVER missed a TFA event - and there was a gaping hole in the midst of our gathering where he should have been. I later learned that his health preventing his being here.
You will hear of Milt's stature within the industry, as he was an integral part of all the associations. But from my standpoint, I have lost a friend.
I will miss the "happy faces" he drew on all correspondence I received from him. I don't think he had any clue as to the impact he made on so many lives.
We will miss him greatly. Our convention in April will feature a raffle, and I have resolved that all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society, in honor of Milt and in honor of Tommy Bower, as well as all those who have fought the battle against this disease.
